Nationally ranked healthcare accelerator Health Wildcatters has named 11 startups to its newest class, marking what the Dallas-based program called another milestone in the region\u2019s rise as a health innovation hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now in its 13th year, the accelerator has backed 131 companies to date, reinforcing its role as one of the most active early-stage healthcare investors in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe breadth of this year\u2019s class speaks to the future of healthcare: more digital, more global, and more personalized,\u201d Dr. Hubert Zajicek, CEO and co-founder of Health Wildcatters, said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring this level of innovation into Dallas, where entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders come together to accelerate breakthroughs that can truly change lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based at Pegasus Park in Dallas, the accelerator recently launched the HW VC Center, a new initiative designed to connect investors and startups.<\/p>\n

In the six weeks since it opened, the VC Center has hosted more than 30 meetings with 10 venture capital firms across the country, the accelerator said, fueling deal flow between health innovation startups and investors. That includes members of this year\u2019s cohort, the group added.<\/p>\n

Health Wildcatters said the 2025 class reflects the increasing globalization of healthcare innovation. The cohort includes startups from across the U.S. and abroad\u2014four international companies are represented\u2014offering a mix of health IT, medical devices, digital health, and biopharma solutions.<\/p>\n

\u25cf PrecisionHealth TPA<\/strong> (Frisco) \u2014 Led by Craig Herndon, the company is reinventing self-funded healthcare with technology-driven operations, transparent pricing, and scalable recurring revenue.<\/p>\n

\u25cf YU.SH<\/strong> (Milan, Italy | Dubai, UAE) \u2014 Founded by Pietro Allegretti, YU.SH merges fashion and health tech with luxury heels equipped with smart insoles that boost wellness through electrostimulation.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Vaccinity Inc.<\/strong> (Fort Worth) \u2014 Founded by Paul Evans, Vaccinity is building a decentralized patient EHR with AI-powered clinical trial matching to expand access and equity.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Latica Med Ltd.<\/strong> (Ra\u2019anana, Israel) \u2014 Eduard Papirov is pioneering non-invasive acoustic technology designed to improve fertility outcomes by enhancing endometrial receptivity and healing.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Pumpinheart Limited<\/strong> (Galway, Ireland) \u2014 Founded by Donald Hickey, Pumpinheart is developing a transcatheter implantable pump for advanced heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), addressing an unmet need affecting millions.<\/p>\n

\u25cf NearWave<\/strong> (Austin) \u2014 Founded by Roy Stillwell, NearWave has created optical imaging systems that help physicians non-invasively identify the best therapy for breast cancer patients within a week.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Pollen Sense<\/strong> (Salt Lake City, Utah) \u2014Pollen Sense, co-founded by Kris Klein and David Noel, delivers real-time, high-resolution airborne particle insights through a deep-tech platform with transformative applications across health, research, and industry.<\/p>\n

\u25cf SelfSense Technologies<\/strong> (Galway, Ireland) \u2014 Founded by David Townley, SelfSense has developed an AI-powered SmartSplint that monitors bite force in real time to prevent dental implant failures and optimize treatment outcomes.<\/p>\n

\u25cf HarmonIQ Biosciences Inc.<\/strong> (Austin) \u2014 Founded by Mario Sierra, HarmonIQ is pioneering the world\u2019s first continuous hormone monitoring (CHM) platform\u2014\u201cthe Dexcom of hormones\u201d\u2014to deliver real-time hormone data and AI-driven insights that transform fertility care, menopause management, testosterone optimization, and endocrine research.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Sequest Bio<\/strong> (Boston, Massachusetts) \u2014 Sequest Bio, founded by Ashkan Novin, leverages biopsies, RNA-sequencing, and live metastasis assays to generate predictive models that provide oncologists with earlier, more accurate insights into how cancer will progress.<\/p>\n

\u25cf PowerPercept<\/strong> (Dallas) \u2014 Led by Avinash Srinivasan, PowerPercept is a health technology company developing smart insoles that provide real-time insights to help prevent injuries and accelerate rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

The new startups made their debut at Health Wildcatters\u2019 annual \u201cMeet the Teams Reveal & Happy Hour\u201d on Sept. 4, at Pegasus Park.<\/p>\n
