In Brooklyn, New York, more than 100 dogs were discovered crammed into a filthy apartment after their 73-year-old owner was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead. Authorities entering the home described horrific conditions: trash, feces, and dirt everywhere, while dogs suffered from painfully matted hair, untreated infections, and other illnesses.
