You know, maybe he\u2019s on a different level, McGenius Guy, whatever the hell he is. Nerd boy,\u201d Ryan said during ESPN\u2019s \u201cGet Up\u201d on Monday. \u201cBut anyway, their team has no respect for their coach. They play like that. They\u2019re soft, I\u2019m with you on that. Every part of their football team. They have tons of talent on this team. They don\u2019t play with any passion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ryan and McDaniel have different coaching styles, so it shouldn\u2019t be too much of a surprise to see the former Jets and Bills coach react this way after an ugly loss for Miami.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins had 211 yards of total offense, turned over the ball three times, while Daniel Jones, who started for the Colts on Sunday, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/07\/sports\/daniel-jones-wows-in-touchdown-filled-colts-debut-vs-dolphins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">had 272 yards, one touchdown pass and two rushing touchdowns.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>McDaniel addressed the talk of being on the hot seat on Monday when he spoke with reporters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t see this job void of pressure,\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FinsXtra\/status\/1964793952957247578\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> McDaniel said<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t see entitlement in this job, but I think the most important thing is that I worry about doing my job. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins will face the Patriots in Week 2 with a chance to redeem themselves after the ugly loss on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think one of 17 is one of 17,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/stclaudeii\/status\/1965125780759011821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McDaniel said<\/a>. \u201cAnd if that type of game doesn\u2019t show up ever again, that\u2019s the only way you make it worth it.
