Florian Wirtz<\/a> has admitted that it \u201cmight take a few more games\u201d for him to adapt and score for Liverpool, after netting a brilliant free-kick for Germany. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz admits Premier League is \u201cdifferent kind of football\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

While we have seen glimpses of Wirtz\u2019s fantastic awareness and remarkable technical ability, he hasn\u2019t yet set the Premier League<\/a> alight with his talent.<\/p>\n

He did, though, figure prominently for Germany on Sunday night, as he scored a long-range free-kick in a 3-1 win over Conor Bradley<\/a>\u2018s Northern Ireland. <\/p>\n

Following the game, when asked by broadcaster RTL (h\/t GGFN<\/a>) about when he hopes to score his first goal for Liverpool, Wirtz replied: \u201cIt might take a few more games. <\/p>\n

\"Florian<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a different league, a different kind of football. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen will I score for the first time? I have no idea, hopefully in the next game. It will come eventually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wirtz has every reason to remain confident in himself. He is just 22 years old and has plenty of time to develop.<\/p>\n

While Liverpool will want their \u00a3116 million signing to progress significantly in the coming months, it must be acknowledged that he is not yet the finished article. <\/p>\n
