Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor\u2019s two children have approached the Delhi High Court seeking a share in the assets of their father, late businessman Sunjay Kapur, escalating a family dispute over an estate estimated at around \u20b930,000 crore.<\/p>\n

The children, represented by Kapoor, have alleged that they were wrongfully excluded from Kapur\u2019s inheritance by his third wife, Priya Kapur, following his sudden death in June in the United Kingdom at the age of 53. Kapur was chairman of Sona Comstar, a Gurugram-headquartered global automotive components manufacturer.<\/p>\n

In their plea, the siblings accused Priya Kapur of conspiring with two associates, Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma, to forge and suppress Sunjay Kapur\u2019s will. They allege that the document, dated March 21, 2025, which bequeaths his entire personal estate to Priya Kapur, is \u201cforged and fabricated\u201d and surrounded by \u201csuspicious circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

The petition says that the will was withheld for over seven weeks and was only disclosed during a family meeting on July 30, 2025. The plaintiffs argue that neither the original will nor a copy has been shared with them, and seek to have the document declared invalid.<\/p>\n

The suit names Priya Kapur, her minor son, her mother Rani Kapur, and the alleged executor of the will, Shradha Suri Marwah, as defendants. The children have requested the court to declare them Class I legal heirs and grant them a one-fifth share each of their father\u2019s estate through a decree of partition.<\/p>\n

As interim relief, they have sought a freeze on all personal assets of Sunjay Kapur until the case is resolved. The suit has been filed by advocates Shantanu Aggarwal of Lexster Law LLP and Madhulika Rai Sharma.<\/p>\n
