(All times below are subject to change.)<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\ude98 Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix area)  \ud83d\ude9a<\/p>\n<p>Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed at Arizona Avenue (SR 87) in Chandler from 11:30 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday (June 29) for bridge work.<\/p>\n<p>More details: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uPnY36sR7w\">https:\/\/t.co\/uPnY36sR7w<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pMWZyEsubu\">pic.twitter.com\/pMWZyEsubu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Arizona DOT (@ArizonaDOT) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArizonaDOT\/status\/1938386866966839787?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">June 27, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Westbound Loop 202 will be closed at Arizona Avenue in Chandler from 11:30 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday for bridge work as part of a widening project.<\/p>\n<p>The westbound on-ramps at Gilbert, Cooper and McQueen roads will be shut down at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Westbound traffic can detour along the off- and on-ramps at Arizona Avenue during the closure or exit Loop 202 earlier and take Germann or Pecos roads to Alma School Road to reenter the freeway.<\/p>\n<p>What other freeway construction projects impact traffic this weekend?<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other freeway construction projects will impact two areas of US 60\/Grand Avenue in the West Valley and a Loop 101 Pima Freeway crossing in Scottsdale.<\/p>\n<p>In Peoria, the Grand Avenue-75th Avenue intersection will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for traffic-signal work, although the Olive Avenue overpass will remain open.<\/p>\n<p>Further up Grand Avenue, in the Surprise area, the westbound roadway will be reduced to one lane from Loop 303 to Deer Valley Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Sunday for pavement improvement work.<\/p>\n<p>Over in Scottsdale, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be narrowed to one lane each way between Hayden Road and 90th Street from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for paving work as part of a widening project.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 for bridge work from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Get the latest KTAR News 92.3 FM <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/text-alerts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">traffic alerts<\/a> sent straight to your phone by texting \u201cTRAFFIC\u201d to 620620.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kstonezone\" data-show-count=\"false\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Follow @kstonezone<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;\">Have a story idea or tip?
