Alexander Isak<\/a> made his first appearance since May when he came off the bench for Sweden, telling reporters after the game that \u201cnot everyone has the full picture.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Isak had not played in any capacity since the final day of last season before he replaced Anthony Elanga with 18 minutes to play in Sweden\u2019s World Cup qualifier against Kosovo on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old therefore made his first outing as a Liverpool player, having finally completed his \u00a3125 million switch from Newcastle<\/a> on deadline day.<\/p>\n

His efforts to leave St James\u2019 Park were not short of controversy, but speaking to Fotbollskanalen<\/a> after Sweden\u2019s shock 2-0 loss, Isak insisted \u201cnot everyone has the full picture\u201d of how things unfolded.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is what it is. Not everyone has the full picture, but that\u2019s a discussion for another day,\u201d he explained in the mixed zone in Pristina.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now there is a disappointment about this match and how it went, as well as a positive feeling about the club part that is coming.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am happy to be a Liverpool player and that is what I wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Isak made a positive contribution after coming on against Kosovo, including a brilliant take from a through ball which resulted in a chance well snuffed out by goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.<\/p>\n

Having not featured in Sweden\u2019s opening game of the break \u2013 a 2-2 draw with Slovenia \u2013 it was determined that he could only play around 20 minutes.<\/p>\n

Regardless, it will be useful when it comes to his integration at Liverpool, and Isak expressed his gratitude at now being able to focus on football after a \u201ctransfer summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel good. It\u2019s a bit difficult to answer right now after a loss like this, but it\u2019s clear that I feel good about [the move],\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe summer has been as it has been. A transfer summer. I had my wish, to change clubs. I have done that now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

On the fierce criticism he faced from Newcastle<\/a> fans and the media, Isak replied: \u201cIt\u2019s part of the sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot that I can\u2019t control. I\u2019m glad that things are over and that I can focus on my club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be another day to discuss it, but it is clear not everything [has been true]. Not much.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there is a time and place for things. Right now the energy is on the national team and the disappointment after this match.<\/p>\n
