{"id":213494,"date":"2025-09-09T18:35:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T18:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/213494\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T18:35:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T18:35:13","slug":"pearl-restaurant-named-among-50-best-restaurants-in-us-by-new-york-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/213494\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearl restaurant named among 50 best restaurants in US by New York Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 The New York Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2025\/dining\/best-restaurants-america.html?rsrc=ss&amp;unlocked_article_code=1.kk8.U-ep.2VFSymwz892k&amp;smid=url-share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2025\/dining\/best-restaurants-america.html?rsrc=ss&amp;unlocked_article_code=1.kk8.U-ep.2VFSymwz892k&amp;smid=url-share\">released its list of the 50 best restaurants in the U.S.<\/a> on Tuesday, and a San Antonio restaurant earned a nod on the list. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">Isidore, a steakhouse inside the Pullman Market at the Pearl, was chosen for its food, which the newspaper described as \u201cwild and unfettered.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">The New York Times continued its praise by describing and hyping up the taste of three of their food options: the mesquite beans, wagyu steak and yuba.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cMesquite beans are cooked down to a syrup and whipped with butter to make a sweet condiment that dazzles whatever it touches,\u201d the newspaper said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">In terms of the restaurant\u2019s waygu steak and yuba, the story described its meat selection as \u201csumptuous as you\u2019d expect\u201d and said their yuba looks like \u201cethereal ravioli and tastes like heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Isidore was the only San Antonio eatery chosen and was one of four places that made the list in Texas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">This latest accolade is the second time that Isidore has received recognition from a major publication.
