\n\tA body has been found inside an impounded Tesla registered to singer D4vd at a tow yard<\/a> in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the circumstances around the body, which was discovered in a Tesla. Officers were called to the tow yard on Monday afternoon following reports of a foul odor coming from the car, which had been on the property for several days. Police found a body that had been placed inside of a bag in the front trunk of the vehicle. The identity of the body is currently unknown and the case is now a death investigation.<\/p>\n

\n\tABC 7<\/a> confirmed that the 2023 Tesla is registered to D4vd<\/a> in Hempstead, Texas. Representatives for D4vd did not immediately respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 20-year-old musician, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is best known for viral singles \u201cHere With Me\u201d and \u201cRomantic Homicide,\u201d which have separately amassed more than 1.5 billion streams on Spotify. The singer recently kicked off his \u201cWithered\u201d world tour early last month in support of his debut album of the same name. He is currently scheduled to perform tonight in Minneapolis before wrapping the North American leg in Los Angeles on Sept. 20.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast week, D4vd announced a partnership with Epic Games to release Fortnite\u2019s first-ever official anthem, \u201cLocked & Loaded (Official Fortnite Anthem),\u201d which dropped in tandem with the announcement.
