During a public meeting at the Hilton Albany, the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) shared updates on compliance with Cannabis Law, advancements in the Seed-to-Sale tracking system, and the launch of the Cannabis Education Advisory Panel (CEAP). The OCM emphasized its commitment to building a dynamic and equitable cannabis market.<\/p>\n
The CCB approved 46 new adult-use licenses, increasing the total to 1,904 statewide. Of these, 69% were awarded to Social and Economic Equity (SEE) licensees. Jessica Garc\u00eda, Chair of the Cannabis Control Board, said,<\/p>\n

To address confusion over provisional license timelines, the CCB extended all provisional CAURD and adult-use licenses until December 31, 2026. This extension aims to provide clarity and consistency for license holders.<\/p>\n
The Cannabis Education Advisory Panel (CEAP) was approved to guide youth-focused cannabis education. Felicia A.B. Reid, Acting Executive Director of the OCM, said, <\/p>\n
