They\u2019re at early stages but certainly the relationship with Fiji is an important one. Fiji has a very significant position in the Pacific.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Australia is pursuing agreements across the Pacific in an attempt to push back on China, as it seeks to build influence in the region through infrastructure deals and funding for national governments. Over the week since, markets have been leaning towards the next rate cut coming in December, instead of November, and a second cut in May, instead of March.
