When he was being felicitated with the honor, he took his hand out of his pocket to shake hands with the presenter, but the shake didn\u2019t happen. The awkward moment was caught on camera, which Stephen shared on his IG story. Stephen\u2019s new book, Shot Ready, has been released. NBA Superstar and legend Stephen Curry has come up with a new book, Shot Ready. He took to his Instagram account to share a glimpse of the launch of the book. At the event, several pictures from his top NBA moments were pasted on the wall. He revisited a few of the top NBA moments, reminiscing about the story behind those photos. One of the stories was cutely awkward yet hilarious. Talking about that moment, Stephen shared:\u201cThat was right after a very awkward missed handshake moment.\u201d He further said, explaining his situation, \u201cI didn\u2019t know what to do.\u201d His honest admission elicited laughter from people there, who agreed with Stephen that it was an awkward moment. Actually, Stephen took his hand out of the pocket to shake hands with Adam Silver, the NBA chief, who was presenting the MVP award to him. But, Adam kind of, didn\u2019t notice and went on to pick the trophy instead of completing the handshake. The moment was caught on camera and became one of the embarrassing moments for the NBA star, which he remembered with a pinch of salt. <\/p>\n

An awkwardly missed handshake was not the only memory Stephen Curry shared at the launch. He also recalled his draft night and what he went through during the moments when his name was to be announced as the NBA\u2019s new pick. Like, just that moment of walking on stage and shaking David Stern’s hands, at the press conference the next day.\u201dHe took to behind-the-scenes moments from the draft night, sharing, \u201cYou’re like, man, this is actually happening.
