We\u2019ve got you covered.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philadelphia Fall Arts Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/philadelphia-fall-arts-fest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest<\/a> is set for this Saturday, Sept. 13<a href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/triple-bottom-brewing-know-your-rights\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">,<\/a> with a jam-packed schedule of cultural fun in store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the free-to-attend activation will boast festival-style performances, tours of the Marian Anderson House, and the chance to interact with more than 50 regional arts organizations. While perusing around, visitors will be immersed in the worlds of tap, jazz, ballet, opera, Broadway, classical demonstrations and more.<\/p>\n<p>Both stages at the Kimmel will feature performances from shows coming to the city as part of Ensemble Arts\u2019 2025-26 Broadway season, plus, other local institutions. Talent in attendance includes performers from the Tony-winning Best Musical \u2018Kimberly Akimbo\u2019 and \u2018The Sound of Music\u2019, The Philly Pops, Opera Philadelphia, Esperanza Arts Center, Project 440, the Philadelphia Ballet, \u00a0N\u00e9e Danse\/Theatre, the Chocolate Ballerina Company, SHARP Dance Company and more (a full schedule can be found online.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-198433 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1757516952_693_ea-pfaf2024-101_54016549098_o.jpg\" alt=\"arts and culture events weekend Philly \" width=\"700\" height=\"467\"  \/>PROVIDED\/ENSEMBLE ARTS<\/p>\n<p>300 S Broad St., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensembleartsphilly.org\/tickets-and-events\/free-events\/free-philadelphia-fall-arts-fest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ensembleartsphilly.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jazz Sundays at Cret Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over at Cret Park, Sundays will be dubbed \u201cSunday Live at Cret.\u201d Happening Sept. 7 to 28 (4 to 6 p.m.), locals can sit back and enjoy the sounds of live jazz at Capriccio Caf\u00e9 and Bar. These performances are supported with funds from the Music Performance Trust Fund, American Federation of Musicians, and Local 77. Additional seating for non-caf\u00e9 customers is available on the lawn areas of the park.<\/p>\n<p>110 N 16th St., <a href=\"https:\/\/centercityphila.org\/parks\/cret-park?utm_source=gmb-cret&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=gmb-evergreen&amp;utm_content=cretpark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">centercityphila.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Philly AIDS Thrift Block Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/philly-aids-thrift-block-party\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philly AIDS Thrift<\/a> has plenty of reasons to celebrate, and the nonprofit is doing so the best way it knows how \u2014 with a free street party that promises hours of fun, flair, and fundraising.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Sept. 13, the local charity will be throwing their 20th Anniversary Block Party in commemoration of awarding over $5 million in grants and donations to 50+ HIV\/AIDS service organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The free all-ages event will be in full swing from noon to 6 p.m. \u00a0while taking over the 700 block of South 5th Street.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its 11th year, the Block Party will feature live music, a sword swallowing and fire-breathing clown, food trucks, craft beers, a celebrity dunk tank, games, craft\/vintage vendors, a pie-eating contest (registration available online), and dancing in the streets. DJ Robert Drake, a Peabody Award-winning radio host and producer at WXPN since 1998, will be in attendance as the emcee of the event.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-197199 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Photo-by-Kory-Aversa-1.jpg\" alt=\"arts and culture events weekend Philly \" width=\"700\" height=\"525\"  \/>Philly AIDS Thrift is hosting its Block Party in commemoration of awarding over $5 million in grants and donations to HIV\/AIDS groups.Kory Aversa<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyaidsthrift.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">phillyaidsthrift.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mural Arts Fest 2025<\/p>\n<p>The free <a href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/mural-arts-philadelphia-fall\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">celebration of art, music, and more<\/a> will take place at The Oval on Saturday, Sept. 13, and feature hands-on activities like art-making and kids\u2019 activities, live painting, a Black artist gallery, an artist market, and community pop-ups from partners across the city.<\/p>\n<p>Folks in attendance will enjoy live performances from Interna$hional Bounce, Plantain Party, Tameartz, ThursdayNightGroove, and more, including plenty of food and a beer garden by Libertee Grounds. The celebration will also feature a preview of October\u2019s Mural Arts Month 2025, which will honor Voices of Philly.<\/p>\n<p>2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, <a href=\"https:\/\/muralarts.org\/events\/mural-arts-fest-2025-voices-of-philly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">muralarts.org<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shiekeith Exhibit at TILT\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Thursday, Sept. 11, TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image will debut visual artist Shikeith\u2019s first solo exhibition in his hometown. As a release notes, inspired by a resonant line from Toni Morrison\u2019s seminal novel \u2018Beloved People Who Die Bad Don\u2019t Stay in the Ground\u2019, this showcase delves deeply into the artist\u2019s ongoing investigation of the hauntological encounters and lived realities of Black men and boys.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition uses photography, video, and other installations to highlight and document the \u201cenduring legacy of historical traumas and their persistent reverberations across successive generations, actively resisting attempts at erasure and historical amnesia.\u201d The Opening Reception for the exhibit is set for this Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. \u2018Beloved People\u2019 will be on view until Nov. 22.<\/p>\n<p>1400 N. American St., <a href=\"https:\/\/tiltinstitute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">tiltinstitute.org<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Jury Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participating in a courtroom experience is typically not an open process, but locals will have the chance to be part of all the action with Fever\u2019s latest interactive showcase \u2014 The Jury Experience. The activation premiered in Philadelphia a few months ago with a \u201ccase\u201d surrounding an accident involving a driverless car, but Friday, Sept. 12, marks a new criminal conundrum to explore.<\/p>\n<p>From start to finish, the experience allows visitors to dissect witness testimonies, unpack evidence, and weigh every argument before settling on a final verdict. The remaining shows of The Jury Experience will play this fall at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediatheatre.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Media Theatre For The Performing Arts<\/a>.
