The Utah woman who brought #MomTok and \u201csoft swinging\u201d into America\u2019s conversations will soon go from \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d to choosing from a couple dozen men to date.<\/p>\n
Taylor Frankie Paul, whose candid admissions about her life as a Latter-day Saint mom on TikTok became a media sensation, has been selected as the next star of ABC\u2019s reality dating show, \u201cThe Bachelorette.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the announcement came Wednesday on an episode of Alex Cooper\u2019s popular \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast. Paul, 31, will be the central figure of Season 22 of the show, airing sometime in 2026.<\/p>\n

On \u201cThe Bachelorette,\u201d one woman chooses, over the course of several episodes, from among a couple dozen male suitors.<\/p>\n
Paul first earned national attention in 2022<\/a>, when she and a group of Utah content creators on TikTok and Instagram \u2014 all reportedly members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints \u2014 hinted that they engaged in open relationships. <\/p>\n In one such video, Paul claimed she and others in their group were involved in what they called \u201csoft swinging,\u201d which was vaguely defined as having physical contact with other people\u2019s spouses, but stopping short of intercourse. Others in the group denied it, and Paul later posted that she and her husband were divorcing.<\/p>\n On the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast, Paul told Cooper that the scandal \u201cwas a very short-lived learning lesson. That\u2019s another one I learned, right? For me. Don\u2019t open your marriage, because it didn\u2019t end well. And if you open your marriage, great. If you have your system down, great. I don\u2019t judge on that either because obviously I tried it. But it didn\u2019t work out and I don\u2019t think it would ever be healthy for me. \u2026 I would never do that again.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul also will continue to appear on \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.\u201d The reality show\u2019s third season is scheduled to begin streaming<\/a> on Hulu on Nov. 13.<\/p>\n
