{"id":216086,"date":"2025-09-10T17:49:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T17:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/216086\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T17:49:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T17:49:09","slug":"body-found-in-singers-tesla-at-hollywood-tow-yard-had-distinctive-tattoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/216086\/","title":{"rendered":"Body Found in Singer&#8217;s Tesla at Hollywood Tow Yard Had Distinctive Tattoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A person whose decomposing body was found at a Hollywood impound yard in the trunk of a Tesla registered to the singer known as D4vd remained unidentified Wednesday, though officials released a description of the woman that included a distinct index finger tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>The body inside the front trunk of the Tesla was found around 12:20 p.m. Monday at a tow yard in the 1000 block of North Mansfield Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>According to the LAPD, the vehicle was impounded and towed to the yard \u2014 an \u201cofficial police garage\u201d \u2014 on Friday by the city Department of Transportation because it was \u201cparked on a public street for more than 72 hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The car is believed to have been parked in the Hollywood Hills. Law enforcement sources told NBC4 that the Tesla had been parked at the location for nearly a month. After it was impounded, workers at the tow yard and neighbors reported a strong odor coming from the car, leading to the discovery of the remains.<\/p>\n<p>According to various reports, the remains were dismembered and severely decomposed, and were found inside a bag in the trunk.<\/p>\n<p>While the county medical examiner has not yet identified the body, officials there described the decedent as a woman of unknown age with wavy black hair and unknown color eyes. She was 5-feet-2 inches tall, weighed 71 pounds and had the letters \u201cShhh\u2026\u201d tattooed on her right index finger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decedent was found severely decomposed inside a vehicle on (Monday),\u201d according to a medical examiner\u2019s office statement. \u201cShe appears to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time before being found. We are unable to determine her age or race\/ethnicity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The woman was wearing a tube top and size small black leggings, with a yellow metal stud earring and a metal chain bracelet.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla was registered in Texas to David Anthony Burke, a singer\/songwriter known as D4vd who has millions of followers on social media and is in the midst of a U.S. tour. He performed in Minneapolis on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>A representative for the singer told NBC4 that he \u201chas been informed about what\u2019s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer\u2019s \u201cWithered\u201d tour is scheduled to make a stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 20. The tour began Aug. 5, according to a schedule posted online.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, as that mystery continued to unfold, Los Angeles police on Tuesday responded to the discovery of another body found inside a Honda Civic that had been impounded at a tow yard in South Los Angeles.
