As first hinted at earlier this year, Nothing says its Android 16 update is coming soon, with Nothing OS 4.0 offering a \u201credefined\u201d take on the skin.<\/p>\n
Nothing\u2019s skin on top of Android, Nothing OS, is a fairly clean cover-up, but with some added style and features to fit in with Nothing\u2019s design language. It\u2019s evolved with time, with the Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0<\/a> providing a more refined look and some functional tweaks to the lock screen and Quick Settings.<\/p>\n Now, Nothing is teasing the arrival of its Android 16 update, Nothing OS 4.0.<\/p>\n This update was first teased in July alongside the launch of Phone (3), with a promise it would arrive before the end of September<\/a>. An initial beta was released <\/a>a few weeks ago, but without any major changes.
