Starting this week, we take a look at how city services are working in your neighborhood \u2014 in even closer detail than before. <\/p>\n
This article breaks down information from the data desk at Times of San Diego, and shows you how things are working in the Pacific Beach community planning district<\/strong>. (We\u2019ll give you a similar report for every neighborhood in different parts of the city. See how we serve those neighborhoods in this story<\/a>.)<\/p>\n We\u2019ll start with the details from our earlier top 10 lists<\/a>, looking at some of the most common public services requested via the city\u2019s Get It Done system. <\/p>\n Graffiti reports<\/p>\n In the past 12-month period, the Pacific Beach district<\/strong> has seen 712<\/strong> graffiti cleanup requests. That means it ranks number 14<\/strong> in number of requests among all of the roughly 50 community planning districts citywide. <\/p>\n Here\u2019s the list of the top 10 city districts by number of graffiti reports in most recent 12 months.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Illegal dumping<\/p>\n In the past 12-month period, the Pacific Beach district <\/strong>has seen 4,509<\/strong> reports of illegal dumping. That means it ranks number 4<\/strong> in the number of reports among all San Diego districts. <\/p>\n As we have reported previously at Times of San Diego, the city\u2019s overall data on illegal dumping includes many cases where workers log the items themselves<\/a>. So these numbers include some reports by residents, but in most cases include a larger number of reports by workers.<\/p>\n Here are the top 10 city districts by reports of illegal dumping.\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LEARN MORE: <\/strong>Citywide, there\u2019s plenty of variation in where dumping is reported.
