British teenager Mika Stojsavljevic has admitted she has been too shy to speak to her hero Novak Djokovic<\/a> at Wimbledon<\/a>. The London-born wildcard, 16, has a Serbian father and a Polish mother.<\/p>\n

And last year\u2019s US Open girls\u2019 champion said: \u201cDjokovic is my biggest idol ever. I love him, so he definitely inspired me. And at one point it was Djokovic and Iga (Swiatek) as number one.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that was quite funny, because obviously I’m half of both, which was really cool and inspiring. They can do it, so I can do it, maybe. I have seen him around a few times but I haven’t spoken to him. He’s just got too much aura!\u201d<\/p>\n

Stojsavljevic, who will play American No.31 seed Ashlyn Krueger in the first round<\/a>, has just finished her GCSEs. \u201cIt was very difficult,\u201d she said. \u201cI don’t really think I slept for a month and a half, but I’m so glad it’s over and I can just focus on playing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn’t play certain tournaments so that I could just focus on the exams and always be at school when I was doing them.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for tournaments like Nottingham, we had to move my matches around to make sure that I could still do the exam and play. Once I think I had an exam in the morning and played a match in the afternoon.
