<\/p>\nIt’s only Week 2, but former NFL star Rob Gronkowski is seriously concerned about the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n
The Chiefs kicked off their 2025 campaign with a 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. They had no answer for Justin Herbert, who completed 25 of 34 passes for 318 yards with three touchdowns. Kansas City’s defense was so frustrated that pass rusher Chris Jones and linebacker Drue Tranquill were seen shouting at each other on the field.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on “Up & Adams” this Wednesday, Gronkowski offered his thoughts on the Chiefs. The four-time Super Bowl champion was a bit surprised by their lack of composure in Week 1.<\/p>\n
“What I was surprised about was when things aren’t going their way, they start yelling at each other,” Gronkowski told Kay Adams. “That’s not a good situation. You want to come together when you’re down to figure out why things aren’t going the way they need to go. It’s not a good sign. They got to get on the same page and not blame each other.”<\/p>\n

Gronkowski then suggested the Chiefs “fold” when their opponents punch them in the mouth.<\/p>\n

“The Philadelphia Eagles opened the floodgates last year in the Super Bowl agains the Kansas City Chiefs. … The Eagles punched them in the face. The Chiefs didn’t know how to react to that because no one else was doing that. Well, the Los Angeles Chargers punched them in the face. The Chiefs were like, ‘Whoa, how do we react?’ The Eagles opened that floodgate. If you punch these guys in the face and come out swinging, they’re going to fold and they’re not going to be the team you saw all of last year.”<\/p>\n
Chiefs-Eagles rematch set for this Sunday.<\/p>\n
Things won’t get any easier for the Chiefs. They have a date with the Eagles set for this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

“We gotta get this thing f—ing going, man,” Kelce said Wednesday. “We gotta get this train f—ing running a little bit more. The biggest thing for me is energy, man. We gotta come out with f—ing energy. I know Arrowhead is going to bring it, it’s going to be fun to feel that atmosphere, but unless the players are on the field doing that Arrowhead’s not going to be a fun atmosphere. We gotta f—ing bring it knowing that we got one of the best teams, the champs, coming in.”<\/p>\n
If the Chiefs drop to 0-2 on the season, Gronkowski won’t be the only analyst talking about their flaws.<\/p>\n
