\n\tAs ICE<\/a> raids intensify across the United States, Bad Bunny<\/a> is keeping his fans\u2019 safety in mind on his latest world tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 3x Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist recently explained that he opted not to include any U.S. stops on his Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos World Tour as he and his team were \u201cvery concerned\u201d about his fans being subjected to threats of deportation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere were many reasons why I didn\u2019t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate\u2014I\u2019ve performed there many times. All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I\u2019ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US But specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the US,\u201d he explained to i-D<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPeople from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world,\u201d Bunny continued. \u201cBut there was the issue of\u2014like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it\u2019s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tICE raids and deportations have increased across the country in recent months under President Donald Trump\u2019s second term, in addition to the deployment of the National Guard<\/a> to major cities. <\/p>\n
