{"id":216883,"date":"2025-09-11T00:49:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T00:49:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/216883\/"},"modified":"2025-09-11T00:49:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T00:49:13","slug":"amazon-developing-consumer-ar-glasses-to-rival-meta-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/216883\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazon\u00a0developing consumer AR glasses to rival Meta: report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amazon.com\u00a0is developing augmented reality glasses for consumers,\u00a0the Information reported on Wednesday, citing two people with knowledge of the plans, a move that would put the company in competition with Facebook owner Meta.<\/p>\n<p>The glasses, internally codenamed \u201cJayhawk,\u201d will include microphones, speakers, a camera and a full\u2011color display in one eye, the report said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amazon\u00a0is aiming to roll out the product to consumers in late 2026 or early 2027.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37074293\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/logo-amazon-pictured-company-logistics-109836857.jpg\" alt=\"Amazon logo on a building.\" class=\"wp-image-37074293\"  \/>Amazon\u2019s \u201cJawhawk\u201d glasses are planned for release late next year or early 2027, The Information reported.
