That\u2019s how long Judy Regalado and Dora Arroyos have lived in the neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cIt\u2019s not fair that we live like this,\u201d Regalado said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Video taken on Sunday by Regalado shows water rushing down Channing Avenue, reaching the bottom of cars parked on the street. She said floodwater often comes over their front lawns. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cI want them to put another drain,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd pick up our sidewalks.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Years ago, Regalado said the city added one drain at the end of their block. But that didn\u2019t stop water from flooding their street. Regalado said the city dug a hole the size of a city block across the road to help drainage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">She said that it still hasn\u2019t worked. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThe flooding on Channing never stopped,\u201d she said, which is why she went to the mayor\u2019s town hall last week in District 3. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sa.gov\/Directory\/News-Releases\/Mayor-Visits-Flood-Project-Sites-Across-the-City\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sa.gov\/Directory\/News-Releases\/Mayor-Visits-Flood-Project-Sites-Across-the-City\">visited<\/a> her street just days later to see flood damage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 kNAFkD cuqaEv article-text\">That\u2019s one location the mayor is visiting this week to address flood concerns.
