What is Oktoberfest?<\/p>\n
This traditional autumnal festival, which originated in Germany, is celebrated all over the United States by drinking copious amounts of beer, sporting lederhosen, munching on pretzels, polka dancing and merrymaking.<\/p>\n
Don’t be fooled by the name. This annual autumnal festival\u00a0begins in September and runs through October.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Where is Oktoberfest?<\/p>\n
Celebrations are being held across the five boroughs. This year\u2019s events include\u00a0weeks-long waterside parties, brewery bashes and boozy feasts\u2014all with plenty of German (and local!) beer.
