SAN ANTONIO \u2014 Police say a man grabbed a box cutter and slashed his girlfriend in the foot in the middle of an argument on the west side of San Antonio late Wednesday night<\/p>\n
The boyfriend then left the girlfriend at an abandoned gas station.<\/p>\n
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. outside of a closed down Chevron store off of Marbach Road and SW Loop 410.<\/p>\n
Officers have not told us why the couple was there in the first place, but there was a problem and both began arguing with each other.<\/p>\n
In the middle of the spat, police say the boyfriend, a man in his 20s, pulled out a box cutter and slashed her in the foot.<\/p>\n
The boyfriend then left the area. First responders had to pick the girlfriend up and take her to the hospital.<\/p>\n
She’s stable and is expected to survive.<\/p>\n
Police are looking for the guy who they say drove off in a black 4-door car after the attack.<\/p>\n
