That pricing gives the company a valuation of $5.29 billion. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/news\/stablecoin-issuer-figure-figr-increases-the-size-of-its-ipo-due-to-strong-demand\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Demand for the offering was strong<\/a>, leading Figure to boost the number of shares sold from 26 million to 31.5 million on September 9.<\/p>\n<p>Major private equity firms, including affiliates of DCM, Ribbit, Gemini Investments, and Morgan Creek Capital Management, are among the key backers of the company. Notably, billionaire investor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/experts\/hedge-funds\/stanley-druckenmiller\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stanley Druckenmiller\u2019s Duquesne Family Office<\/a> has shown interest in buying up to $50 million in shares from Figure\u2019s offering at the IPO price.<\/p>\n<p>Post-IPO, founder Cagney will continue to retain 68.6% of Figure\u2019s voting power through his ownership of Class B shares, carrying 10 votes each.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Understanding Figure\u2019s Business Model<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Figure Technology leverages blockchain technology to connect lenders and borrowers of home loans on a single platform. According to its IPO paperwork, Figure funds home equity line of credit (HELOC) loans within just 10 days, while traditional banks take an average of 42 days. Moreover, it offers crypto-backed loans and operates a digital asset exchange. To date, Figure has funded more than $16 billion in loans on its blockchain-based system.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Figure leverages <a data-autolink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/compare-stocks\/artificial-intelligence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> (AI) to streamline its operations, including using OpenAI\u2019s models for evaluating loan applications and deploying Alphabet\u2019s <a data-ticker=\"GOOGL\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/googl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">(GOOGL)<\/a> Gemini chatbots on its customer platform.<\/p>\n<p>For the six months ending June 30, 2025, Figure reported net profits of $29.1 million on sales of $190.6 million.
