\n\tDon\u2019t expect Kirsten Dunst<\/a> to be cheering on the Toros again in a \u201cBring It On<\/a>\u201d reboot.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the premiere of her new film \u201cRoofman,\u201d the Oscar-nominated actor was asked by Entertainment Tonight<\/a> if she would ever consider returning for a sequel to the beloved 2000 teen comedy, to which she replied: \u201cNo. I\u2019m like, leave good things where they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cI don\u2019t need to put on a cheerleading outfit. I don\u2019t even know what I would do, be a coach or something? Let\u2019s leave it as it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDunst starred in \u201cBring It On\u201d as Torrance Shipman, the cheerleading captain at San Diego\u2019s Rancho Carne High School who aims to lead her squad to victory at the national championships. The film \u2014 which co-starred Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford and Gabrielle Union \u2014 was a box office success and has become a cult classic, leading to six direct-to-video sequels (none of which feature the original cast members). Dunst went on to gain fame and acclaim for her roles in Sam Raimi\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man\u201d trilogy alongside Tobey Maguire and as Marie Antoinette in Sofia Coppola\u2019s 2006 historical drama, and scored her first Academy Award nomination for Jane Campion\u2019s \u201cThe Power of the Dog\u201d in 2021. <\/p>\n

\n\tNow, she\u2019s headlining Derek Cianfrance\u2019s \u201cRoofman\u201d alongside Channing Tatum. The TIFF title tells the true story of Jeffrey Manchester, a former U.S. Army Reserve officer who evaded the police by hiding in the walls of a Toys \u201cR\u201d Us. <\/p>\n

\n\tAsked what drew her to the project, Dunst told Entertainment Tonight: \u201cHonestly, it was Derek Cianfrance. I\u2019m such a fan \u2026 For me, he\u2019s a real actor\u2019s director, you know? He really cares about things feeling alive and real and that\u2019s what I like.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough a \u201cBring It On\u201d reboot isn\u2019t in the cards, Dunst recently told Town & Country magazine<\/a> that she\u2019d love to star in a blockbuster like the \u201cMinecraft\u201d sequel to get some extra cash and make something her kids would actually watch.<\/p>\n
