PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A man has been arrested after another man was killed in a shooting last month in south Phoenix. <\/p>\n

Phoenix Police said 33-year-old Luis Mollinedo has been arrested in connection with the Aug. 15 shooting death<\/a> of 41-year-old Gabino Martinez Jr.<\/p>\n

Martinez Jr. was found early that morning on the ground in front of a home near 15th and Southern avenues<\/a>. He was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound at the scene. <\/p>\n

Police initially detained multiple people at the scene, but after going through evidence and speaking to witnesses, they were released.<\/p>\n

Mollinedo was later identified as a suspect, leading to his arrest. Phoenix PD did not provide details of the arrest. He faces a murder charge related to homicide.<\/p>\n
