JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Jacksonville State University has broken its all-time enrollment record, for the fifth straight year.<\/p>\n
The university said, for the first time ever, it has surpassed 10,000 students. This fall, JSU enrolled 10,339 students. This represents a 3.9 percent increase in students compared to last year’s record enrollment of 9,955 students.<\/p>\n
“The growth we celebrate today is the result of a true team effort,” said President Dr. Don C. Killingsworth, Jr. “Our entire campus has been working collaboratively, which played a huge part in pushing us past this historic benchmark. This achievement reflects the collective strength of the entire Gamecock community.”<\/p>\n
JSU’s enrollment has increased for five consecutive years.
