Multiple images and a video of the \u201cperson of interest\u201d wanted in connection with the\u00a0shooting death of\u00a0conservative influencer Charlie Kirk<\/a>\u00a0have been released as the manhunt for his killer presses on into its second day.<\/p>\n

Early Thursday morning, the FBI released a series of photos of the \u201ccollege-aged\u201d man they\u2019ve been scouring the area for.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are asking for the public\u2019s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,\u201d the bureau\u00a0wrote on X<\/a>\u00a0along with the photos, which show a lanky male dressed head to toe in dark clothing.<\/p>\n

The subject is wearing<\/a>\u00a0wraparound sunglasses, a dark-colored hat and a long-sleeve shirt that appears to have an American flag on it.<\/p>\n

The \u201cperson of interest\u201d was also captured moments before the shooting on surveillance video posted by TMZ. TMZ<\/p>\n

The same \u201cperson of interest\u201d was captured on surveillance video heading towards the UVU campus the morning of Kirk\u2019s debate, according to footage obtained by TMZ<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Utah Department of Public Safety posted another four photos showing more detailed images of the man Thursday night. While his face is obscured by the gray ball cap, an eagle and flag on his T-shirt and gray Converse sneakers are visible. Another image shows his black backpack. <\/p>\n

In the grainy video, a lanky person dressed head to toe in black is seen carrying a backpack while he limps down a residential street around noon \u2013 right toward the campus.<\/p>\n

The man was hobbling down the street, possibly concealing the bolt-action rifle authorities later recovered near the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Authorities additionally noted that the man could\u2019ve blended in with the crowd during the chaos immediately following the shooting, thanks to his outfit.<\/p>\n

Anyone who might be able to identify the man is being asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or\u00a0submit a tip digitally<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kirk, 31, was killed by a single shot fired<\/a>\u00a0by a sniper from the Losee Center, a building on the campus of Utah Valley University, around 200 yards from where he was speaking as he kicked off his multi-city American Comeback tour.<\/p>\n

Two suspects later found not to be connected<\/a>\u00a0to the shooting were arrested yesterday \u2014 one was hit with an obstruction of justice charge, and another was interrogated by federal agents and released.<\/p>\n

An imported .30-06-caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle \u2014\u00a0found wrapped in a towel in a wooded area<\/a>\u00a0near the Orem campus \u2014 is believed to be the murder weapon, according to a memo put out by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.<\/p>\n
