The median sales price remained almost unchanged at $335,000, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breaking it down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the housing segments, according to the report, home sales for houses priced between:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1-$99,999 increased 20.7%<\/li>\n<li>$100,000-$149,999 increased 12.7%<\/li>\n<li>$150,000 -$249,999 increased 21.2%<\/li>\n<li>$250,000-$499,999 increased 6.4%<\/li>\n<li>$500,000 -$999,999 increased 14.8%<\/li>\n<li>$1M and above increased 12.9%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they\u2019re saying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAugust brought the strongest sales gains we\u2019ve seen so far this year, and that\u2019s encouraging for both sides of the market,\u201d HAR Chair Shae Cottar said. \u201cBuyers have more choices and negotiating power than they\u2019ve had in more than a decade while sellers continue to benefit from solid demand.
