A specialized job fair focused on accessibility and inclusion is coming to Syracuse this fall, offering adults with diverse abilities a chance to launch their careers.<\/p>\n
The Community at Work Job Fair<\/a>, presented by CareerBridge IT Solutions<\/a>, provides adults with physical and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to meet with inclusive local employers. Job seekers will be able to explore industries, learn about positions and network with actively hiring companies.<\/p>\n The event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, will take place at CNY Works, located at 960 James St. in Syracuse.<\/p>\n Participation is free for both job seekers and employers. <\/p>\n While the fair is tailored for adults with diverse intellectual and physical abilities, experiences or access needs, all community members are welcome.<\/p>\n The goal of this event is to empower people by connecting them with employers who are eager to build diverse and inclusive teams, ultimately fostering confidence for both initial employment and long-term professional growth.<\/p>\n Employers participating in the event can demonstrate their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion while accessing motivated talent to strengthen their workforce. <\/p>\n \u201cThis job fair is about more than just filling positions; it\u2019s about making our business community even stronger and more vibrant,\u201d said Lindsay Marlenga, senior director of marketing at syracuse.com | The Post-Standard, which has partnered with CNY Works to present The Community at Work Job Fair. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re dedicated to connecting talented individuals with disabilities to inclusive companies who will truly benefit from their unique skills, perspectives and diverse backgrounds.
