PHOENIX \u2014 A 71-year-old man died after a collision that took place on private property in Phoenix early Thursday, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Officers with the Phoenix Police Department found Armando Felix in the area of 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road around 5:40 a.m.<\/p>\n

They found Felix with serious injuries. While authorities brought him to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

The vehicle involved in the collision remained on the scene, police said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police don\u2019t believe impairment played a role in the crash.<\/p>\n

Investigators believe Felix was walking on the private property when the vehicle struck him.<\/p>\n

No further details were released as this is an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, a pedestrian was struck and killed<\/a> while crossing a north Phoenix road around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n
