Apparently, 2025 is the year of celebrity engagements<\/a>. Congratulations are in order for Liam Hemsworth and his new fianc\u00e9e, model and fellow Australian Gabriella Brooks. Brooks announced the couple\u2019s engagement on Instagram<\/a> by posting a carousel with a black-and-white image of the couple, a beach, and then an enormous sparkly ring on her left hand. It\u2019s unclear when exactly they got engaged or how it happened \u2014 the caption to the slideshow is just a white-heart emoji.<\/p>\n\n While they\u2019ve been dating since December 2019, the couple has largely kept their relationship private. According to Us Weekly<\/a>, the model called her personal relationship \u201cvery, very important and very sacred\u201d in a 2021 interview with Stellar magazine. \u201cI feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Brooks and Hemsworth sparked engagement rumors last month when they were on a yacht in Ibiza celebrating Chris Hemsworth\u2019s 42nd birthday, according to People<\/a>. In paparazzi photos, the model can be seen showing off what appears to be a diamond ring in a classic I-just-got-engaged pose. Hemsworth was previously married<\/a> to Miley Cyrus after a decadeslong on-and-off relationship.
