However, with home values increasing 2% year over year, residents may still see a slight increase on their tax bill, <a href=\"https:\/\/d3n9y02raazwpg.cloudfront.net\/humble-tx\/b5b2ed91-6f73-11ee-b4aa-0050569183fa-ebc5fcf5-5ee0-49f0-881b-bc93fbd4747c-1757086995.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">meeting documents show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The breakdown<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Humble\u2019s approved total property tax rate for FY 2025-26 is $0.258171 per $100 valuation, City Manager Jason Stuebe said Sept. 11. For FY 2024-25, the city\u2019s total property tax rate was $0.261476 per $100 valuation, according to Sept. 11 meeting documents.<\/p>\n<p>Although this year&#8217;s rate is lower, taxpayers will likely pay more in taxes because the value of homes has increased, according to Sept. 11 budget documents.
