In fact, as long as you don’t mind avoiding some of the more cutting-edge features, you can get a lot of great mobiles that cost under $200. That’s a lot cheaper than most people would expect, and it makes these more budget-friendly options really appealing.

Right now, Amazon actually has a deal on that makes one of the best budget options even cheaper. You can pick up the Samsung Galaxy A16 with 13% off today, which means that’s it’s just $175. While it’s not a massive discount, the device is already so cheap that any money off is a huge bonus. We don’t know how long this reduced price will last though.

See at Amazon

An Essential Mobile Phone

The Samsung Galaxy A16 still packs in most of the things people really love about Samsung Galaxy mobiles. Sure, you’re not going to be getting the most power or the prettiest camera, but it’s still a great Android phone with enough flexibility and features to be a great pick for just about anyone. The stripped-back nature also makes it a lot easier to use for some people as well, which can be good if you’re buying your teenager their first phone.

The 6.7-inch screen means that it’s really easy to read and watch things on it, and while the camera isn’t as good as more expensive models, it’s still good enough to capture the moment as you need. It has a triple-lens camera too, which means that it’s probably a lot better than you might expect. The chassis is really tough as well, and it even has an IP54 rating, which means it’s not going to be messed up by the elements too easily.

Along with that, you still get access to a massive library of different apps, and you can even pair it with some fitness watches to help you track your health and improve your performance, if you’re that way inclined. It has 5G as well, so all of this can be done at the speed you’d expect, and it even has Samsung Wallet for more convenience when you’re shopping too.

It’s a great phone at a great price normally, but that only gets better while it’s on sale. So, if you do want to get this, we’d recommend doing it while this $175 price tag lasts, because we don’t think it’ll be sticking around for long.

See at Amazon

Getting a new mobile phone doesn’t actually have to be an expensive experience.
