Controversial NASCAR driver Austin Hill is among the drivers honoring Charlie Kirk during this weekend\u2019s races in Bristol.<\/p>\n
According to reports, Hill, who was recently hit with a one-race suspension and lost all of his 21 playoff points for intentionally wrecking Aric Almirola at Indianapolis Speedway, has an \u201cIn Memory of Charlie Kirk\u201d decal on his #21 Xfinity car. <\/p>\n
He won\u2019t be alone in honoring the slain conservative activist on the track this weekend. <\/p>\n
In fact, three of the Richard Children Racing drivers<\/b><\/a> \u2014 Hill and Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch \u2014 will sport the decals on their cars. <\/p>\n \u201cFirst of all, it\u2019s a tragic incident where a man\u2019s life was taken and he leaves behind two children and his wife,\u201d Dillon said of Kirk following his death. \u201dI look up to his heroism when it comes to standing for God. And I love some of his teaching of the Bible, his ability to debate without really attacking someone.\u201d<\/p>\n Almirola won Friday\u2019s Xfinity Series race while Hill came in 19th. <\/p>\n The Cup Series race \u2014 the Bass Pro Shops Night Race \u2014 is slated to take place at Bristol Motor Speedway at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n Hill is slated to drive in that race, too. <\/p>\n Kirk, 31, a popular conservative activist, was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking at a college in Utah.
