Are you ready to next-level your annual Gilmore Girls rewatch?<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve ever wished you could stroll Stars Hollow\u2019s sidewalks, munch on diner-style treats or greet Luke at the counter, now\u2019s your chance. A Weekend in the Life: Small Town Convention<\/a>\u00a0is rolling into New Milford, Connecticut\u2014about an hour and 40 minutes from NYC\u2014from Friday, September 12, through Sunday, September 14, and\u00a0this Gilmore Girls event is more than just a convention. It\u2019s a full-on, small-town immersion into what makes\u00a0the show one of TV\u2019s most beloved cozy universes.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Decade Days, this fan festival brings\u00a0the series’ beloved characters, coffees and quirks to life. Notable cast members appearing include Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Scott Cohen (Max Medina), Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger),\u00a0Yanic Truesdale (Michel),\u00a0Todd Lowe (Zack Van Gerbig),\u00a0John Cabrera (Brian Fuller), Sherilyn Fenn (Anna Nardini) and more. (Alas, none of the titular Gilmore Girls\u2014a.k.a. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel or Kelly Bishop\u2014seem to be participating.)<\/p>\n

Look for\u00a0a lot of fan-friendly moments, including\u00a0autograph and photo ops, Q&As, themed bingo and trivia, craft areas and a vendor marketplace full of merch, homemade goods and nostalgic delights. VIP ticket holders get extra perks like private meet-and-greets, special parties and chances to connect more personally with cast members.<\/p>\n

Just like Lorelai and Rory, this event can’t be confined. Events take place throughout New Milford at the Town Hall, the local library and the Connecticut Sports Arena (CSA). There\u2019s just something extra magical about seeing characters land in small cultural landmarks rather than in big convention centers. Honestly, it just feels more Gilmore.<\/p>\n
