But ETH bulls must contend with cooling ETF inflows and renewed SOL momentum.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since mid-August, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/ethereum-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/a> price has been holding above $4K after price rejection near $5K.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amid the September recovery, the altcoin has cleared key roadblocks, raising the odds of crossing $5K, but there are two crucial factors for a strong move.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In their recent update, Swissblock analysts <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/altcoinvector\/status\/1966604122716860592\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">noted<\/a> that the only upside hurdle was at $4.8, and bulls could clear it if they defend $4500.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe key is holding $4,500 and then $4,650 to unlock the path toward $5,000. According to CryptoQuant analyst JA Maartun, the institutional <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JA_Maartun\/status\/1966578315302760747\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\">momentum<\/a> that lifted ETH from May has reduced significantly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Ethereum-ETH-ETF.jpg\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-527905\" class=\"size-full wp-image-527905\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Ethereum ETF\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Ethereum-ETH-ETF.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-527905\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: CryptoQuant<\/p>\n<p>In the past few days, the slow ETH ETFs have also dragged the ETH\/BTC ratio lower, underscoring that BTC outperformed ETH recently.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If BTC and SOL take the lead in the next leg of the rally, the ETH uptrend could be slow. However, Swissblock analysts quipped,\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt has taken advantage of ETH\u2019s recent weakness and accumulation, but ETH could still come back with strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Coinbase Premium Index has been positive and rising since 9th September.
