The Stags Leap District Winegrowers will present House of Cab Phoenix, an exclusive tasting event celebrating the depth, nuance and age-worthy structure of the region\u2019s world-renowned Cabernet Sauvignons.<\/p>\n
Taking place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the historic and boutique Hermosa Inn in Paradise Valley, this immersive experience brings the elegance of Napa to the desert with rare access to some of the most acclaimed producers in the Stags Leap District, according to a press release announcing the event.<\/p>\n
Guests will taste limited-production, estate-grown Cabernets and more from a prestigious lineup of wineries, including Baldacci Family Vineyards, Chimney Rock, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Pine Ridge Vineyards, Quixote Winery, Shafer Vineyards, Silverado Vineyards, Stag\u2019s Leap Wine Cellars and Stags\u2019 Leap Winery.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach cabernet reflects the unique terroir of the district\u2019s volcanic soils and cool valley breezes \u2014 hallmarks of its signature balance, power and refinement,\u201d according to the press release.<\/p>\n

A centerpiece of the event will be a special tasting of the 2022 Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon: A Collaboration \u2014 a rare, limited-release crafted jointly by participating wineries.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis exclusive bottling captures the collective excellence of the region and will be presented during a guided session, \u2018To Decant or Not to Decant,\u2019 led by Riedel\u2019s decanter master,\u201d the release continued. \u201cGuests will explore how proper decanting elevates the tasting experience and will leave with a Riedel crystal cabernet glass as a keepsake.\u201d<\/p>\n
Food pairings from LON\u2019s at the Hermosa, curated by Chef Brian Peterson, will enhance each pour with a culinary perspective that complements the wines\u2019 complexity and elegance.<\/p>\n
