PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Highs have been hanging out in the 90s this afternoon, but triple digits will be making their way back into the Valley. <\/p>\n
Before that happens, it should be another comfortable night with overnight lows dropping into the mid-70s. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs around 100; that\u2019s just below the normal high temperature of 101 degrees.<\/p>\n
High pressure will start to build next week, with highs rising slightly above normal on Monday and Tuesday. The warmest day of the week appears to be Wednesday with a high near 105. Moisture will try to move back into our area by Thursday, bringing some clouds with highs dropping to around 103. <\/p>\n
There will be a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the Valley on Friday, but it\u2019s far from a sure thing at this point. Rain or no rain, Friday will likely be cooler with highs around 100. We will keep you posted about the changes for the end of next week!<\/p>\n
For the high country, southeastern Arizona will see a few lingering showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. It will be a dry start to the week, followed by a few scattered showers and storms on Tuesday and Wednesday in the White Mountains and eastern Arizona. Storms will likely increase in coverage Thursday into Friday. <\/p>\n
