It\u2019s one of the world\u2019s largest manufacturers of LCD, OLEDs and flexible displays.<\/p>\n<p>BOE has now unveiled an advanced new ADS Pro (IPS LCD) display for smartphones. It is a 6.74-inch panel with a 2720 \u00d7 1224 pixel resolution, which works out to around 443 ppi. That\u2019s very sharp. The display will come with either a 120Hz or 144Hz variable refresh rate. When we say variable, we mean in fixed steps, likely 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz\/144Hz.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"632\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1757818343_246_gsmarena_002.jpg\" alt=\"BOE announces impressive new IPS LCD display for smartphones\"\/><\/p>\n<p>To top things off, the impressive new panel promises a peak whole display brightness of around 1,500 nits.
