SAN ANTONIO – An Amazon delivery driver was bitten by a dog while dropping off a package early Friday on the Far Southwest Side.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at a home off Calle Aleman near West Montgomery. <\/p>\n

Officials said the driver sustained two small puncture wounds to his ankle after being bitten by a blue heeler. He was treated at the scene.<\/p>\n

Animal control officers made contact with the dog\u2019s owner, who provided proof of the animal\u2019s vaccinations through medical records. Because the dog\u2019s shots were up to date, no citation was issued.<\/p>\n
