{"id":225941,"date":"2025-09-14T10:38:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T10:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/225941\/"},"modified":"2025-09-14T10:38:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T10:38:12","slug":"sc-flags-hostile-discrimination-in-employment-against-persons-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/225941\/","title":{"rendered":"SC flags hostile discrimination in employment against persons with disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court flagged the hostile discrimination against persons with disabilities in employment in an important verdict today. <\/p>\n<p>It also questioned the Centre if measures were taken to provide &#8216;upward movement&#8217; of meritorious candidates when they secure more than the cut-off in the unreserved category.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The principle of upward movement, available to candidates under social reservation categories, ensures that reserved seats go to those who &#8216;truly&#8217; need them.
