PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A man was arrested after allegedly trespassing and destroying a memorial at Turning Point headquarters in Phoenix on Sunday morning. <\/p>\n

Phoenix Police officers were directed to the man accused of damaging a community memorial in front of Turning Point USA headquarters near 48th Street and Beverly Road.<\/a> Phoenix police say officers were already in the area to assist with traffic control.<\/p>\n

The memorial was made by community members to remember late conservative activist Charlie Kirk<\/a>, co-founder of the nonprofit political organization, who was assassinated while speaking<\/a> at a Utah university earlier this week.<\/p>\n

The suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Ryder Corral, was detained by witnesses until he was taken into custody by responding officers. There were no serious injuries.<\/p>\n

Corral will be booked on multiple charges to include criminal damage and disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

More details are expected to be released Sunday afternoon after Corral has been formally booked. <\/p>\n
