{"id":227208,"date":"2025-09-14T22:32:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T22:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/227208\/"},"modified":"2025-09-14T22:32:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T22:32:11","slug":"infant-retiree-six-month-old-recognized-after-completing-infant-at-work-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/227208\/","title":{"rendered":"Infant &#8216;retiree:&#8217; Six-month-old recognized after completing &#8216;Infant at Work&#8217; program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TYLER, Texas \u2014 A six-month-old from Texas is now enjoying her free time away from the office. <\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, the Tyler City Council celebrated one of its youngest retirees, Olivia Alarcon, who has just completed her time in the city&#8217;s &#8220;Infant at Work&#8221; program.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today we have Olivia Alarcon, who&#8217;s receiving her certificate for 6 months of service in the city of Tyler,&#8221; said Mayor Don Warren.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Infant at Work&#8221; initiative allows employees to bring their babies to work starting at four weeks old until they reach six months. <\/p>\n<p>Olivia&#8217;s mother, Vita Alarcon, who works at Tyler Transit, said the program had a significant impact on her family&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, which began in 2002, has seen Olivia become the 20th baby to &#8220;retire.&#8221; Olivia now plans to spend more time with her grandmother.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"TYLER, Texas \u2014 A six-month-old from Texas is now enjoying her free time away from the office.
