The Atlanta Hawks decided to go all-in on their roster this offseason and added some key pieces, taking up a lot of space in their payroll.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Atlanta Hawks<\/a> have made a concerted effort to try and land some key players, thus building a contender in the Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n

To start the summer, the Hawks traded for Kristaps Porzingis<\/a> to land a center replacement for the departing Clint Capela<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to that, the Hawks signed and traded for Nickeil Alexander-Walker<\/a> to add another backcourt option alongside Trae Young<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Atlanta Hawks must make expensive roster worth the investment<\/p>\n

Heading into this season, the Atlanta Hawks are paying an exorbitant sum of money for the roster that they\u2019ve put together.<\/p>\n

Of course, no team is going to pay this kind of money without expecting some type of success in return from the players.<\/p>\n

The Hawks surveyed the Eastern Conference and realized that they can compete for an NBA championship if they get the right pieces on board.<\/p>\n
