Tickets start at $50 and can rise to $250 for repeat offenders.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"2c6be\">The Automated Camera Enforcement program is part of the MTA\u2019s effort to keep lanes clear and improve bus service citywide.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"1hhed\">The cameras are already in use on 39 bus lines. According to the agency, average bus speeds on those routes have increased about 5%, with some corridors seeing gains of up to 30%.
