PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A fiery crash is blocking traffic near a busy downtown Phoenix intersection on Sunday. <\/p>\n

Around 7:15 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving the light rail and a tractor-trailer at 18th and Washington streets<\/a>. Both the light rail and trailer were quickly engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n

All occupants were able to make it out of the light rail and trailer safely. The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. <\/p>\n

No other injuries were reported. Authorities say the intersection will be shut down as they work to clear the area. <\/p>\n
