The play was stopped short, and Philadelphia later converted the short field into a 51-yard field goal by Jake Elliott to take a 13-10 lead.\u201cThey were going to stay aggressive, likewise,\u201d Reid said. \u201cI think it\u2019s important against that crew to just stay aggressive.\u201dReid admitted he second-guessed the play call after it failed. \u201cI probably could dial up some different things there,\u201d he said. \u201cObviously, I thought the plays we called were available, but it didn\u2019t get done the way I wanted it to.\u201dReid also took the broader loss on himself. \u201cI\u2019ll take full responsibility for that game, (I\u2019ll) probably say too aggressive on that and that\u2019s my responsibility,\u201d he said.Quarterback Patrick Mahomes backed Reid\u2019s decision. \u201cIt\u2019s never surprising for me. I always want to go for it,\u201d Mahomes said. \u201cThat\u2019s just who I am and I want to be aggressive and do that.\u201dMahomes said he trusted the defense to hold the Eagles to a field goal, which it did. \u201cI know our defense and I trust our defense to get a stop,\u201d he said. \u201cObviously we didn\u2019t get it, and defense holds us to a field goal.
