The Yankees couldn\u2019t break out the brooms on Sunday, missing out on a potential sweep when Will Warren allowed six runs in the first inning and the offense\u2019s comeback attempt came just a bit too slowly. The team got to Garrett Crochet better than they have all season, and they continued chipping away against the Sox bullpen until they ran into their old frenemy Aroldis Chapman in the ninth, but they went down in order to end it two runs shy of forcing extras. While the sweep would\u2019ve been nice, the team did win three out of the four series against contenders that they had this month. Now, they\u2019ll face a run against teams already well out of it to close out their year.<\/p>\n
